SPACE CUBE

A strange spaceship or temple in the shape of a cube seems to have landed in town. The cube, a widely used symbol in mysticism and mathematics, has long been a source of fascination and mystery. Steeped in symbolism, the work gives way to an imaginary world hidden within, somewhere between the organic and the geometric. By peering through the “magic eye”, spectators may discover a hybrid city partially integrating the outside world while multiplying its own reflections in disorienting views.

Presented by the Centre de création diffusion de Gaspé as part of Espaces Ouverts, from July 18 to September 25, 2025, the Space Cube enters into dialogue with the panoramic landscape. At nightfall, it transforms and reveals its fluorescent interior.
