CareerACCOUNTING AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
EXMURO art public is looking for a rigorous, reliable and organized individual to join its team as Administration and Accounting Officer. Reporting to the Executive Co-Director and the Administrative Director, this person will play a key role in the accounting and administrative management of the organization, contributing to the stability and transparency of its internal management.
The Administration and Accounting Manager supports the Co-Director in the day-to-day financial and administrative management of EXMURO art public. He or she is responsible for bookkeeping, budget tracking, tax reporting and financial compliance, while ensuring efficient organization of internal operations.
- Maintain accounting records and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Payroll, government remittances and statements (T4, Relevé 1, etc.).
- Prepare tax reports (GST/QST) and period-end entries.
- Help prepare budgets, balance sheets and financial statements.
- Keep the organization's administrative and financial records up to date.
- Support management in document management.
- Support the administrative coordination of special projects and the induction of new employees.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal tools and procedures.
- Technical or university training in accounting, administration or management.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience (cultural NPO, SME or similar environment).
- Proficiency in Sage 50, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams (Planner an asset).
- Thoroughness, organizational skills and professional discretion.
- Ability to manage several files simultaneously and efficiently.
- Good written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong interest in the cultural milieu and contemporary art.
Depending on the profile of the successful candidate, certain month-end and year-end tasks may continue to be delegated to an external subcontractor, currently responsible for complete bookkeeping. This person will remain in place to ensure a gradual handover and support during the transition.

- Permanent part-time or full-time position (22.5 to 30 h/week, depending on profile).
- Main place of work : Public area (Place-Royale, Quebec).
- Compensation: hourly wage between $21.63 and $27.40 / hour, depending on EXMURO wage policy and experience.
