CareerRECEPTION, MEDIATION AND CAFÉ-BOUTIQUE AGENT
Under the supervision of the Communications and Marketing Manager, the team in charge of welcoming audiences, cultural mediation and Café-boutique operations works primarily at L'Aire publique, but can also be deployed in other venues in Quebec City. As an ambassador for EXMURO, she interacts with various audiences, ensures the smooth running of the Café-boutique and contributes to the promotion of the organization's projects, mission and values.
- Welcome the public, offer group visits and lead creative workshops;
- Inform the public about the works, the products on sale at the Boutique, EXMURO and the neighborhood;
- Operate the cash desks (box office, boutique and café);
- Operate Café EXMURO (beverage and food offer);
- Ensure the safety of site users with the support of the team;
- Keep public areas clean;
- During lulls, invite passers-by in to discover the works;
- Update, collect, sort, compile and enter various audience data;
- Open and close the Aire publique and its showrooms;
- Participate in training workshops;
- Other related tasks.
- Completed high school diploma
- Interpersonal skills, courtesy and ease with tourists
- Agility and dynamism
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Customer service experience
- Interest in and knowledge of the contemporary art world
- Coffee-making and light cooking skills (an asset)
- Bilingual in French and English (other languages an asset)

- Position type: Fixed-term salaried position ending in early September or mid-October, with possibility of extension. Part-time with flexible working hours
minimum of 15 h per week from high season on June 13;
- Flexible hours, weekdays and weekends, days and evenings;
- Workplace: At EXMURO located at 27, rue Notre-Dame. Possibility of working on another site in Quebec City for a special project during the summer;
- Salary: from $18.73 per hour, depending on experience.
