EXMURO will shinelhe Place Royale lights up with the Facet ball truck mixer
Québec, October 29, 2024 - Renowned for its wildly varied artistic offerings, EXMURO exceeds expectations once again. Visit november 9the public to the Place Royale for an extraordinary dance party where a concrete mixer transformed into a gigantic disco ball will sublimate the emblematic site of the old capital. The event free of charge in partnership with Béton Provincial, which will be held one evening only – rain or shine!
Stationed in the public square, the majestic concrete mixer, adorned with thousands of mirrored plates, will illuminate the unique architecture of Place Royale and transform the site into a veritable open-air dance floor. Playing out a rousing disco beat, the unusual installation promises to unite the population in a moment of shared joy. It's a timely proposal, as the days get shorter and we'd like to keep the heat going! EXMURO invites everyone to come and warm their bodies and hearts from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m on Saturday, November 9. To enhance the experience, a ephemeral bar in partnership with La Barberie microbrewery and Cidre Intrus will also be on hand, offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
Visit Facet ball truck mixer is a creation of Benedetto Bufalinoa Paris-based artist renowned for his ephemeral installations that transform the urban landscape in surprising ways. In 2016, during Lyon's Fête des Lumières, the artist teamed up with lighting designer Benoit Deseille to make this festive doll truck sparkle for the first time. Through this unique work, he reinvents an everyday place as an unexpected playground, boldly overturning our perception of the city.
