The exhibition
A moment of adaptation
A strange specimen stretches across the façade of a building. The gonflable installation takes up and magnifies the anatomical details of the rotifer, a microscopic organism with the ability to dry out and fly away on the wind to dodge predators. On the move, it borrows and absorbs DNA from surrounding species to rearrange its own, thus ensuring its own survival. This exceptional creature with its surreal forms could teach us a great deal about the transformative virtues of adaptability and resilience in the face of adversity.
