The exhibition
ALOUETTE
An aerospace vehicle seems to have fallen from the sky and crashed into the city. A replica of the 1962 Canadian satellite now abandoned in its perpetual earth orbit, Alouette recalls the failed promise of a better future once heralded by modernity. It could as much represent the ever-increasing obsession with communications as the resulting accumulation of space junk. Will the sky really fall one day?
January 14 to March 30, 2025, WINTERACTIVE a free art experience accessible to all, is back for a second edition, with artworks and interactive play elements at 17 different sites, presented by the Downtown Boston Alliance.
