HELLO! MONSIEUR ROSE
Visit Mignonism is an artistic movement dreamed up by Philippe Katerine, whose universe is as surprising and delicate as its creator. With its resolutely poetic and offbeat influences, this movement advocates the propagation of cuteness in our physical and psychic environments. With lucidity, the Mignonism praises beauty in simplicity.
Philippe Katerine presents a series of inflatable sculptures in the public space, all featuring "Monsieur Rose". This monumental icon of cuteness is perched on the city's rooftops. These characters transform streets into playful places, and our daily movements into delightful, colorful journeys.
From February 8 to March 2, 2025, as part of DIG SHIBUYA 2025philippe Katerine's iconic inflatable sculpture, "Monsieur Rose", will cross continents to take up residence in the heart of Shibuya, one of Tokyo's most emblematic districts. The famous Shibuya crossroads is one of the busiest crosswalks in the world (almost 390,000 people a day).

ILS EN PARLENT
"Pink art invades the Shibuya skyline - "Mr. Pink" arrives in Japan for the first time. He clings to the railing with both hands and looks out over the Shibuya crossroads in a playful way, which is adorable." - Takashi Fujii, Shibuyabunka
