The exhibition
Last stop
Dernier arrêt is a sculptural installation that unfolds like an open-air museum. Composite reproductions of commercial posters that once populated Longueuil's main thoroughfares in the second half of the twentieth century create a series of spatiotemporal strata. Evocative of the neon museum in Las Vegas, the work invites us to take an anachronistic stroll. The selection pays homage to the businesses that played a decisive role in shaping the neighborhood and helping to forge its diverse social fabric.
