First kiss at last light

A master of illusion, artist Alex Chinneck transforms urban elements too often taken for granted in our experience of the city. Here, two intertwined lampposts seem to defy the laws of physics to embrace each other. Thus personified, the improbably knotted lampposts inject a dose of poetry and tenderness into Montmorency Park. Reflecting the warmth of Old Quebec, this luminous work is the visual signature of the historic district and its romantic streets.
