SPATIAL CUBE
A strange cubic temple-ship seems to have landed in town. A symbol both mystical and mathematical, the cube exudes a fascinating, enigmatic aura. Inspired by science fiction, fantasy and bioluminescent organisms, the work invites us to enter an imaginary world nestled between its walls, where the organic blends with geometric rigor. From the magic eye, a hybrid city is sketched out, partially integrating views of the outside world while unfolding in multiple reflections and disconcerting perspectives.
Presented by the Centre de création diffusion de Gaspé as part of Espaces Ouverts, from July 18 to September 25, 2025, the Spatial Cube dialogues with the panoramic landscape. At dusk, it transforms to reveal its fluorescent interior.
